I want to call this guy Lover Boy. He is so beautiful and elegant. He stands about 17" tall and is a burnished brown copper and gold with hints of green. His hooves are luster and there are touches of copper luster on his face and mane. His legs fired hollow and then filled with an epoxy resin and steel gauge wire for strength and to prevent breakage. His neck and tail have steel wire and his body is hollow. He stands firmly on a flat surface and will add good energy to a room

This horse decided to be a bold turquoise color., He was supposed to have some copper accents and I started to refire him but then my husband said to leave him be. Now I really like his color and I know someone else will too. He is about 9" tall, has wire in his legs, neck and tail and a hollow body.

This horse reminds of a vintage/ primitive sculpture. I don't quite know how he came out looking like this as he was supposed to be copper but he decided to have burnished browns/golds with tinges of copper. He has wire in his legs, neck and tail and stands about 8" tall.

This guy is chunky and bold. He is tones of copper and greens and has movement. He stands about 9" tall and is free standing. His legs have steel as does his neck. His body is hollow. He is a fun sculpture.

This horse is gorgeous. It is a blue luster glaze that I rarely am able to reproduce. The glaze is made with cobalt and copper carbonate, mixed with other ingredients and then fired to 1850'. This horse was retired twice before I produced the colors that I wanted. He stands 17' tall, is made on a hand welded rebar frame and mounted on a wood base made from a slab of reclaimed barn wood.

This guy is cool. He is fired on a hand welded rebar armature that is wrapped in steel gauge wire. He is mounted on a custom wood base made from old reclaimed barn wood. His color is difficult to obtain using raku firing methods as it uses a ferric acid compound that has to be applied at the correct temperature. He is heavy and will stand out any where that he is displayed.

This raku horse is full of personality! He is about 10" tall and is a burnished brownish red made with raku matte copper glaze. He has touches of copper. His legs are fired hollow and then finished by filling with an epoxy resin and steel gauge wire for strength to prevent breakage. He has steel wire is his neck and tail and his body is hollow. He will stand freely on display.
Princess
This is a 17" tall raku sculpture. The body is white crackle with copper accents. The legs are hollow during firing and then filled with epoxy resin and a steel gauge wire that harden and prevent breakage of the legs. The neck and tail have a steel wire for stability. This is a beautiful elegant piece that stands on its own.

This is a supper cool piece. It is a raku fired body mounted on legs made from old wooden bobbins used in the fabric mills in Pennsylvania. They are beautiful. Some may have thread still attached. The piece is 16” tall.
